Mixed Media Collages

DESCRIPTION and PROCESS

Using an intuitive approach I intend to imbue various media and myriad papers with the energy of meditative states. By opening my mind further, I see forms emerge which I develop by collaging botanicals, gold leaf, translucent materials, invented script, paste papers and beeswax. Using colored pencils and graphite I draw shadows to evoke dimension, movement and art’s life force. All materials are treated to be archival and finally prepared for display.
